A former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virender Sehwag, is one of the most aggressive batsmen in the world. His monstrous hitting style has brought India laurels on many occasions.
He is the former Occasional Captain, Vice-Captain of India, and Captain of Delhi Daredevils and Delhi Ranji team.
Virender holds multiple records, including the highest score made by an Indian in Test cricket, which was also the fastest triple century in the history of international cricket. He is also one of the four batsmen who have batted more than 300, twice in Test cricket and the only batsman to achieve two triple centuries and five-wicket innings.

Virendra Sehwag was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2002, Padma Shri in 2010 and Polly Umrigar Cricketer for International Cricket in 2007.
He became the only Indian to be honoured with the Wisden Leading Cricketer for his performance in 2008, subsequently becoming the first player of any nationality to retain the award in 2009.
He is one of the only two players to score a double hundred in ODI and a triple hundred in Test Cricket.
